After taking to the ice before practice a couple times, Joe Sakic has rejoined the team during practices albeit with a no-contact jersey.
While there's no timetable set, I think practicing at this point would indicate he should be available for the final week of the season.

Hopefully he'll be able to play next season.
Then again, I'm not sure it makes much of a difference.
tha avs blew it got rid of all there players what do you expect im happy they won over 10 games this year with the bad goal tending terrible defense and no one that really wanted to step up and be a leader after sakic went down the avs are a joke and they better really take a long hard look at whats going on .
magnum, until I hear otherwise, I'm assuming he's coming back. But being a careful man, I'm hedging my bets by heading to Denver just in case ;)
Shawn, I feel the frustration. We all do. They made some personnel mistakes, some front office mistakes and, most importantly IMO, many coaching mistakes.
The only way next year will be better is with a front office shakeup. This isn't just a player problem.
