The Avalanche reduced their roster to 27 today. Kyle Cumiskey, Johnny Boychuk, Jeff Jillson and Cody Mcleod have all been sent down to Lake Erie. No real surprises although some people may have been holding out hope that Cumiskey would stick. I wasn't one of those people although I do like his game.
Avalanche.nhl.com has the details as well as a piece on injuries and Liles offensive prowess. Hejduk and Svatos are practicing again but it sounds like Theodore is still recovering. Getting time in the last preseason game on Saturday is "a long shot". Click here to read it.
