Terry Frei has a post up today which essentially tells "media" to shut their yaps about attendance issues in Denver.
UPDATE: The DP pulled the post but Google captured it.
It had me going "Oh, snap!" from start to finish and is required reading for Avalanche fans in my humble little opinion.
If only I knew who specifically that post was directed at...
Thanks to HockeyBuzz's Aaron Musick for noting this in his Twitter stream.

are you being sarcastic as to who this article was directed at ? If not I will give you a hint his initial are A.D :)
Very sarcastic ;)
I don't mind the CBC coverage but can someone tell Kevin Weekes not to overuse 'No Question' god, i count at least 15 times in the 1st period
I hadn't noticed that one. But now that you've said it I'll key in on it, I'm sure.
I got a 404 error when I tried the link. Bad link, or did The Post try and made it go away like AD's alcohol fueled ESPN rant? They did this before with one of Woody Page's columns after he ripped on Utah during the olympics.
Wow. Google didn't even catch a cache of it, it seems. Though you can see the search result:
http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&safe=off&client=firefox-a&hs=0OY&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-GB%3Aofficial&q=site%3Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fblogs.denverpost.com%2Fsports%2F+attendance&meta=&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=
Hah, of course it doesn't find a cache of it when I mistype cache in the search. It did cache it and have updated the link. I've also taken screenshots for posterity.
wow, I'd love to be in the DP lunch room when Frei and Dater both get to the vending machine..
Thanks for catching that, as a reader of both I wanted to see it. It's a little Orwellian of the Post to make things disappear like that.
Anon - DP has pulled several of Dater's posts in the past. The most famous was the ESPN rant, but he's had a few pulled since, like his post about women calling NBA games, and later, references to it. It's SOP for the Post these days. I'm sure it will happen again. And again.
I quit reading AD a couple of months ago as he wouldn't stop the snide remarks about game attendance. Am glad TF wrote what he did and sorry the Post took it offline. It sounds like somebody on the Post's staff understands the fans better than AD, and I appreciate it! I wonder if AD's point of view is affected by working for what is my least favorite sports newtwork,VS?
I appreciate your PO very much the picture with the article. Continues to refuel!!
Puck Daddy linked to the cached version of the post today. Good job, Shane.
Nope, can't get it...sorry :(
