I just got a text message from TSN's alert service that Peter Forsberg is going to announce his retirement.
I hadn't seen this anywhere else and thought it may have been a mistake. But lo and behold, it's up on TSN's website as well.
So long, Foppa. We will always love you.

I think it was a selfless act, and a very hard one at that. He had to be honest with himself, and knew it was time, thanks for all the memories Foppa, What a fantastic career, the only thing left is your spot in the Hall of Fame!
